The Igarra medical mission by the Health Support Initiative on 28th June, 2014 was a follow up mission to the earlier one undertaken in December 2013. This was sorely carried out by the HSI and was flagged off by the Vice Chairman of Akoko Edo Local Government Area, Barr. Godson Hayioye who represented the Council Chairman. The traditional ruler of Igarra, HRH the Otaru of Igarra was represented by the Secretary of the Otaru in Council and the Coordinator of the Primary Health Care in the council, De. Samuel Matthew among other dignitaries. The mission witnessed a very large turnout of patients from the council area and beyond.
